Linkedin is a widely recognised online networking service, yet many business have fully embraced its potential.

I'm here today to dispel the notion that LinkedIn is difficult to use, with some simple tips on how to create a professional-looking profile.
Tip 1: When it comes to your profile photo, don't cut corners; you should embrace and reflect your brand adequately. Lighting, attire, and background can help you stand out from other business and professional profiles. A cohesive banner can also add to the aesthetic of your profile.
Tip 2: LinkedIn allows you to sync your emails, enabling you to access your contacts on the platform itself. You can expand your network and communicate with other professionals/businesses by establishing communication links. In order to get the most out of LinkedIn, you must actively participate.
Tip 3: Customers and professionals utilize the location and industry provided by all profiles to sort out profiles that are near or relevant to them. For example I may only search for businesses/professional in Malaysia that specialise in marketing.
Tip 4: You have the opportunity to write a summary that includes information about your company, yourself, and your key goals. You must make full use of this section and ensure that it is appealing and engaging to the reader.
